Before becoming a lawyer, I served as a legislative aide to Senator John Whitmire, who now serves as Mayor of Houston. I worked on criminal justice legislation, including bail reform, and saw firsthand how decisions made at the Capitol shape the lives of people in courtrooms across Texas.

After three years clerking in criminal defense, she passed the bar and walked straight into a federal criminal antitrust prosecution brought by the federal government — a complex price-fixing conspiracy prosecuted out of the Southern District of Texas. The defense successfully secured an outcome that was a fraction of what the client faced.
That case set the tone for the attorney Reagen is today: leave no stone unturned, know the case like no one else does, and fight like everything is on the line — because it is.
There is no charge Reagen will turn away from. She has defended clients accused of violent offenses, serious felonies, and some of the most sensitive allegations a person can face. In one case, a client charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child walked away with a dismissal after Reagen's relentless investigation revealed the complaining witness had lied about her whereabouts.
